Conferencing
PGi Netspoke:
Is it possible to quickly conduct a Web conference without scheduling it in advance?
PGi Netspoke Web offers a convenient Meet Now capability for situations when two or more individuals need to collaborate “on-the-fly” and want to share PowerPoint slides, files or computer applications with each other visually. You can start a Meet Now conference in seconds, and can record the audio and visuals to capture all the ideas and decisions introduced in the meeting.
Can I easily distribute my presentation and other materials to attendees without sending the files via email?
With the Premiere Conferencing Hub, you can upload and store PowerPoint presentations and other files for later use in conferences. For each conference, you can select which presentations and files are relevant, and you can allow attendees to access those files at their convenience via the Conferencing Hub.
What is the easiest way to allow people to listen to a recording of my meeting afterward?
When you use PGi ReadyConference Plus, recording is as easy as pressing *22 on your phone keypad or, when using PGi Netspoke Web, clicking the Record button in the PGi Netspoke presenter interface. Your audio and audio plus Web recordings are accessible via the Premiere Conferencing Hub. Locate your recording and click the Invite link to enter email addresses for the people to whom you want to send a link to your recording. Recipients have the option to either download and play the recording from their computer or listen to the recording via telephone.
Are my Web Conferences secure?
Yes. Premiere Global employs SSL/TLS technologies to ensure the secure interaction among your users, moderators and constituents. The definitions are:
SSL - Secure Sockets Layer, a protocol for transmitting private information via the Internet. SSL uses a cryptographic system that uses two keys to encrypt data - a public key known to everyone and a private or secret key known only to the recipient of the message. Both Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer support SSL. By convention, URLs that require an SSL connection start with https: instead of http:.
TLS - Transport Layer Security (TLS) and its predecessor, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), are cryptographic protocols which provide secure communications on the Internet for such things as Web browsing, email, Internet faxing, instant messaging and other data transfers.
PGi ReadyCast:
What do I need to host or attend a meeting using Microsoft Windows and PGi ReadyCast?
requirements to host or attend fully interactive meetings using Meeting Manager for Windows:
- Windows 98, Me, NT, 2000, or XP
- Intel x86 (Pentium 400MHZ +) or compatible processor
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5, 6, Mozilla 1.6 or later, or Netscape 4.7, 7.x
- JavaScript and cookies enabled in the browser
- 56K or faster Internet connection
A localized version of Windows is required to host or attend fully interactive meetings on Asian versions of Meeting Center (Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese).
Do I have to download software to host a meeting with PGi ReadyCast?
To use all of the interactive features in a meeting, you must run Meeting Manager on your computer. Meeting Manager lets you or anyone in the meeting share most types of documents or applications. Unlike the old methods of installing software from a disk or downloading and installing it manually over the Internet, your meeting service automatically downloads and sets up Meeting Manager for you. In fact, each time you participate in a meeting, Meeting Manager maintains itself by checking for the latest version and automatically updating itself, as necessary.
For first-time users, the Meeting Manager for Windows download is approximately 1.0 MB. Meeting Manager then downloads only updated components as needed.
When scheduling a meeting, you can choose to use the Java Meeting Manager, which downloads only a small Java applet. The Java Meeting Manager is most appropriate for a one-to-many presentation, because it supports fewer interactive features than the fully interactive Meeting Manager.

Accounts Receivable Management (ARM)
How will ARM help me collect more money?
The Accounts Receivable Management (ARM) solution provides an organization with tools to contact, remind and drive collections for customers who have outstanding debt. The concept is to start early in the process before a customer becomes delinquent. This can be accomplished by providing helpful reminders that a monthly invoice is being sent. This helps a customer to keep the payment foremost in mind and to not over look payment. Secondly, reminders based upon the date payment is due can help a customer to remember to get their payment in before they go past due. If a customer still falls into the dunning process, gently demands that get more forceful can be sent cheaply and with options like, transferring to pay, excuses can be removed. Finally, for severe past due customers, that have fallen into a collection process, the solution can send out forceful reminders to call and make arrangements to take care of the debt immediately.
What if I call a number and no one is home?
The ARM Solution can determine if there is a live answer or if a machine answers and handle the call based upon your needs. If there is no answer or the line is busy the solution in configurable to make re dial attempts to maximize the potential for the delivery of your message.
Can I leave a different message for the answering machine than what is delivered to a live person?
If selected, the solution can leave a different message for the answering machine that for the live answer. This might include a PIN number or other identifier to speed the call back to resolution.
How can I be sure that the person who answers the phone is the correct person?
Upon answer, the solution provides a mechanism for validation that the person answering is the person that you are trying to reach. This does two things. First, it verifies that the information is delivered to the recipient that it is targeted to, providing a level of privacy. Second, it tracks the response to prove that the message was received, eliminating the excuse that they did not get a message. The authentication process is a keyed in numeric number value that matches information supplied with the calling list.
If the recipient wants to pay or get more information can I transfer them to my call center or IVR?
Yes. The ARM Solution offers a transfer feature that allows for the routing of a call into an existing IVR or call center.
How will my call center operator know who is calling?
The ARM solution provides for a function known as Whisper. A predetermined message is created that will tell the operator who is on the line before actually connecting the call to the operator. The operator can use this information to bring up a customers record before actually speaking with the customer.
Can the call script be complex and allow for branching and personalization?
Yes. Our advanced scripting tool is available via the web and allows for advanced branching within a script as well as inserting of dynamic information to personalize a call to the recipient. The script process allows for both recorded WAV files and advanced Text-To-Speech capabilities.
For very large jobs, how can I be sure that I do not flood my call center with calls and at the same time, make sure that I have enough calls coming in to keep my operators busy?
The ARM Solution provides for management of the transfer process through sophisticated algorithms that manage and control the dialing process. This process is called call pacing. We are constantly advancing the technologies in the area of call transfer and pacing and have many planned future enhancements.
