Chief Technology Officer
David Guthrie joined Premiere Global as Chief Technology Officer in 2003. He is responsible for global technology initiatives, including product management, research & development, strategic partnerships, web development and operations.
Prior to joining Premiere Global, Guthrie served as a partner with Fuqua Ventures where he made investments in portfolio companies, led technology based investments and served as a strategic consultant to key portfolio companies within the fund. Prior to Fuqua Ventures, he was Senior Vice President at WebMD, a Fuqua portfolio company, where he was responsible for the technology development and deployment for all content across WebMD's properties. Prior to this, Guthrie was President and Co-Founder of ISSI, a software technology consulting company, which created software applications and systems for health-care, communications and media-based companies.
He brings a keen interest and deep understanding of converging Internet, communications, web and software technologies.
Mr. Guthrie earned his B.S. in Business Management/Information Systems with High Honors from University of Tennessee. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and two children.
