W. Steven Johns is Professor of Organizational Behavior/Strategy at Kenan-Flagler Business School of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He served as Dean of Kenan-Flagler Business School from August 2003 to August 2008. Prior to that time, he was Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Suncorp Metway Ltd., an Australian banking, insurance and funds management company in Brisbane, Queensland from December 1996 to September 2002. He served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of ANZ Banking Group, N.Z., Ltd. Mr. Jones currently serves as a director and member of the asset quality committee of Bank of America, N.A. and as a director and member of the operations and nuclear oversight and the organization and compensation committees of Progress Energy Inc.
