What do I need to use PGi Fax2Mail?
PGi Fax2Mail works on any standard email program with Internet access. Even if you have an Internet-based email account, PGi Fax2Mail will allow you to send and receive online faxes. To register, you simply need to provide us with your email address. Additionally, PGi Fax2Mail is compatible with a Blackberry and other handheld devices.  >Top

Are there any savings by choosing the annual plan over the monthly plan?
Yes, you would save money by choosing the annual plan. Plus, you automatically get the PGi PremiereAnywhere application with the annual plan, a $36 value. Enjoy more value for your money.    >Top

Can I keep my current fax number?
Yes, you can have your existing fax number moved to your PGi Fax2Mail account. >Top

Do I need to sign a contract?
No. PGi Fax2Mail is a month-to-month service. However, by signing up for a 12 month plan, you can enjoy even more savings. Because you can leave at any time, it makes us work harder to provide you the best online fax service and customer support in the industry. >Top

Do the monthly pages included in my plan require a certain number to be incoming vs. outgoing faxes?
No, unlike competitive offers that reflect a certain quantity to be incoming vs. outgoing, you can use your monthly allocation however you'd like. For example under Option A, (350 pages included), you can send 200 pages and receive 150 one month, then send 60 and receive 290 the next month. >Top

Are PGi Fax2Mail's online faxes secure?
Yes. All faxes that traverse our platform are encrypted. Because we also serve large business customers, we have committed ourselves to meeting strict confidentiality of information standards.  >Top

Is my PGi Fax2Mail number available all the time?
Yes, your online fax number is ‘always on and never busy’. Your computer does not need to be turned on to receive your online fax. >Top

Will PGi Fax2Mail sell my email address or send me advertising?
No. PGi Fax2Mail serves both business and consumer customers and has had a long commitment to preserving our fax customers' privacy. You will not receive an online fax advertisement from us unless you request it, and we will not sell your email address to anyone.>Top

How do I send or print an online fax from my Blackberry with PGi PremiereAnywhere?
With the PGi PremiereAnywhere service you can send a fax or print to a fax machine in 3 simple steps:

  1. Click on the email message that you want to print.
  2. Select the PGi PremiereAnywhere option from the menu.
  3. Type in the fax number (or select from your address book) and click "Send".   >Top

What document types does PGi Fax2Mail support?
For sending outbound online faxes from your desktop, laptop or PDA, PGi Fax2Mail supports most of the commonly used file formats, including: Microsoft™ Word, Excel and PowerPoint; PDF, HTML, GIF, RTF, JPEG, BMP, TXT; Visio Drawing (VSD); PostScript (PS).>Top

How can I change my password?
Sign in and click on the "Preferences Tab". To change your password, click on "Change". You will be prompted to enter your current password and your new password twice, for verification. Click "OK" to complete the password change. >Top

Microsoft Outlook security is not allowing me to view my faxes. What do I do?
Additional security options were recently added to Microsoft Outlook. If you can't view your inbound fax PDF or TIFF attachments, you may need to change a setting in the Outlook Security tab. From within Outlook, click on "Tools" and "Options". Notice the checkbox for "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus." This box is checked by default and will result in some file types being blocked. Uncheck this selection; then close and restart Outlook. You now should be able to get the attachment. (This assumes you have an application associated with the file type.) Note: Be mindful of suspicious of malicious attachments that will be accessible by the user once this block is disabled.  >Top

How do I configure Microsoft Outlook message format to be compatible with PGi Fax2Mail?
In Microsoft Outlook, select Tools > Options. In the resulting dialog box, click the Mail Format tab. At the top of this tab, select either HTML or Plain Text as the value of the drop down box associated with "Send in this message format:" Click OK.   >Top

Does the PGi Fax2Mail service provide any way to block SPAM?

Yes. Sign in to your account and then click on 'Received Faxes' tab. Select whether you wish to show all faxes received today or over a 30 day period. Select the 'block sender' button next to the fax  you wish to have blocked and leave the rest to us. We will block any future incoming faxes. >Top

How can I check the status of my sent fax?

Sign in to your account and click on 'sent faxes' tab. Select whether you wish to show all faxes sent today or over a 30 day period. The faxes displayed will also show their status. >Top

Can my faxes be encrypted with a password requirement?

Yes. After signing in to your account, click on the 'preferences' tab. Change the inbound fax file format to the 'encrypted pdf' option. Enter the password you would like the documents encrypted with and save settings. >Top

How do I pay for PGi Fax2Mail?
PGi Fax2Mail will charge your credit card for the one-time activation fee, plus a monthly or 12 month fee and any charges that you incur in excess of your free pages each month. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. >Top

How do I change my credit card information?
Sign in and click on "Manage Billing". From here you can update your credit card account and billing information.  >Top

Is there an additional cost to print or send a fax from my mobile handheld device?
PGi PremiereAnywhere Mobile Printing is FREE with all annual PGi Fax2Mail service plans. When selecting a monthly plan, you can sign up for this optional service for only $3 more per month. >Top

Am I charged if I go over the designated number of fax pages included in my plan?
Yes, a 10¢ per page fee will be charged.  >Top

What is a fax retry and will I be charged for it?

Effective July 1st, 2007 if a call goes across the network and receives a ring, no answer, voice answer, no confirmation of completion or busy signal a $.004 charge will be applied to your account.  >Top

Why is Premiere Global imposing this charge?

Real telco and resource costs are incurred when we establish these calls across the network. The charge is a cost recovery charge.>Top

How will the charge appear on my invoice?

If you receive call detail records, you will see the $.004 as an additive charge to your per minute rate or per page rate. There will not be a separate line item.

Example: One completed call=$1.00 (10 pages x $.10/page)

                 Three retries billed at $.004 each=$.012

                 Total line item on invoice=$1.012        >Top
