When users want to send a fax, the Premiere Global Communications Operating System (PGiCOS), converts email attachments into fax documents and delivers them to the recipients fax machine. To receive faxes with Fax2Mail, senders fax documents to a user’s personal fax number where PGiCOS converts the document into an email attachment and delivers it to the user's email inbox.
PGi Fax2Mail can also help you to send documents and email attachments directly from your mobile device to any fax machine for printing or document delivery.
When your users receive fax documents via PGi Fax2Mail, the service automatically processes the documents through inbound line group controllers, job processing and format conversion servers, converting paper-based faxes into electronic TIFF or PDF documents that are then routed to users via a secure email delivery server. All document processing and distribution is processed by Fax2Mail for you, so users only have to worry about checking their email for new fax documents.
When sending documents via PGi Fax2Mail, users simply attach documents as they would to an email and send them to a recipients fax number – going through the same processing and distribution servers to maintain the performance, accuracy and security of your fax communications.
